| - VERY cool place!
Prices are comparatively low (to boutique-y or downtown antique shops), which I'm guessing has a lot to do with the location? Anyway, the prices are very dynamic too. As others have said, if you fall in love with something, it is usually worth it to wait a while for it to drop in price.
HOWEVER that can backfire too, as (others have noted this too) the turnover can be high. Happened to me with a covered dish in a china set I collect! Waited too long...
It's close to my office so I sometimes stop in on my way home.
Staff are non-invasive, friendly and helpful - there if you need them, but they give you the space and freedom to just take your time, browse and enjoy like a museum (if that's what you're in the mood for instead of buying).
Furniture, silverware, china, home decor items like mirrors, vases, ornamental statues, etc., some art, figurines, trinket boxes, etc. too. I found a great old schoolhouse desk once that I adore.
They have bits and pieces of period ephemera up at the glass counters around the entrance area - a section I often get lost in for longer than expected - always worth a browse!
