  • If you are looking for a fun day clubbing experience, you should look no further than Wet Republic. I have come here several times over the years and I have consistently had a good time here. If you come in by taxi, they now have a designated area that requires you to walk through the MGM Convention Center. As you enter the actual club, the security does a pretty thorough job of checking. They will go through your cigarette packs and do not let you take in gum. If you want to avoid the lines, I do recommend just buying your presale tickets online and get there around 11:30am -12:00pm. Once you get in, I recommend that you get a locker to store your stuff as soon as possible because they sometimes run out. Located near the main bar and bathrooms, it does come at a cost ($50-60) but is well worth the investment considering otherwise you don't have a place to put your clothes and other belongings. In terms of the music, Wet tends to pull some of the biggest EDM DJs around. Even the DJs before the main acts have been consistently great. If you are not a fan of EDM music, this club is probably not your scene. There are two pools at Wet Republic with the main one right in front of the main stage. I do appreciate that they did open up a bigger dancing area right in front of the DJ that allows club goers to dance on the floor. If there is a long line to the main bathrooms, there is another bathroom that is located closer to the exit. The drinks are on the expensive end but they are usually made pretty strong. I do recommend getting the larges because that way you get a souvenir cup and it is a better deal that could last you the whole time. On the way out, you can go out to the taxi line or if you decide to go back to the hotel, go through the Conference Center hallways. Previously, they allowed you to walk through the pools but I guess too many of these club patrons were then using the MGM pools so they changed this system recently. Overall, Wet Republic is one of the great dayclubs that I recommend.
