  • It's the Sunday before school starts this fall and we are in search of new shoes. Skechers in Downtown Summerlin opened at 11:00 AM today and they were ready for us. Hot popcorn was popped and the aroma whirled through the air. A Buy One Get One (BOGO) 50% off sale is available today. I found one pair of boy's LIGHTZ "light up shoes" for $39.99 and one pair of girl's shoes Sugar Shake Flex II in navy for $12.49! The stocked items were plenty. The staff was patient, generous with their time and kind. We signed up for the Skechers ELITE program and instantly accrued a discount and points towards a discount on a future purchase https://www.skechers.com/en-us/elite. Then, there was the reward of free popcorn at the end of our shopping spree. Finally, we left the store with two elated children, with a skip in their step and one more item to check off for the first day of school. For the future, I believe the next shopping experience will feel similar to this one. At the back of the store, there were shoes at 70% off (e.g. 70% discount of $60.00 = $42.00) and better bargains. Shoes are available for toddlers to adults.
