I lived here for the last year and as soon as my lease was up I couldn't wait to leave. The apartment that I was shown was a 2 bdrm 2 bath, but when I sat down to sign the lease, half way through the process they let me know they only had a handicapped 2 bdrm 1 bath left. They waived the 1st floor apartment fee but w/ a detached garage I was still paying $988 a month. The apartments are mediocre at best and for a gated community they leave the gates open all day long. What's the point in being gated if you don't use it? One of my neighbor's/co-workers even had his motorcycle stolen due to the lack of security. When I moved in parking was a problem, but there were at least some guest spots available. Early in 2015 they marked all the guest spots on the north side as reserved and now charge you to rent them for a month. If you are a multi-car family or if you want to have guests or family visit, you won't be able to have them park anywhere without paying more to the complex for it. Some of the office staff is very friendly, but there are a few that just have bad attitudes and get defensive any time that you come in with a complaint, especially when it's the complex's fault. When my lease came up for renewal they wanted to raise my rent to $1037 a month. When looking to move I found a house less than 3.4 miles away that has 3 bdrms 2 & 1/2 baths with a 2 car garage for $1004 a month. You can get a better deal elsewhere and deal with a lot less headache and stress. I have been stationed 7 different places in the last 15 years and this is the worst place I have ever lived. I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone.
