  • Why cant I give them 1/2 star? Got to the counter after flying in from North Carolina. No-one was there and no sign either. I called corporate and they said they would call the counter. Hellooooo! I was standing at the counter. They called and I heard the phone ring. Absolutely useless. The guy at the Thrifty counter came over and said that Dollar would honor the firefly rate. I went over to Dollar and they did. Amazing. Very nice guys. After a week long vacation I was back at the Dollar counter and noticed that the Firefly counter had a sign saying they were not there today. Did you know that Firelfy is owned by Hertz? So is Dollar and Thrifty by the way. Never consider renting from Firefly! Not worth the supposed $60 savings over the week.
