  • My family loves Lighthouse Academy! My daughter has been attending since she was 7 months old. We had a terrible experience at her first daycare prior to finding Lighthouse. She wouldn't nap during the day, and when I picked her up she was always crying (or red faced from crying). She just wasn't receiving the attention and the loving care that she needed. I reached out to everyone I knew and found Lighthouse. Thank goodness I did! Within the first week at Lighthouse she was reaching for the staff out of my arms, sleeping 3+ hours in naps per day, and she was her normal cheery self again. I can tell that the staff truly cares about her. She is now 2.5 years old and she is thriving! She has loved every room as she has grown older, and loves all of the teachers/staff. Friends and family constantly comment on how smart she is. While we do work with her at home, it would not amount to much if they were not also engaging her, and teaching her, on a daily basis. Thank you, Lighthouse, for making your facility a place where she loves to be!
