Caesars has done a terrible job managing their ongoing remodel. I stayed at a recently renovated room and noticed many issues that should have been easily picked up by either a quick inspection of the room or by housekeeping. These issues included a bathroom door that wouldn't close due to the door being too large for the frame, the shelf in the shower being at a near 45 degree angle making it difficult to use, paint and scuff marks on furniture, and large scratches on the bathroom tile. I was willing to ignore these issues, mostly due to fear of getting a room that was even worse since they obviously didn't inspect the remodeling work properly.
This morning, on the last day of my stay, I awoke at 6:30am to the sound of hammering and drilling directly above my room. The front desk confirmed this was renovation work... Why would they start so early and why would they place customers in the floor directly beneath the one being worked on?
