  • After changing agents, I find out BCBSAZ has been charging me a 15% "rate-up" for several years. They never communicated this information, and never mentioned any sort of "pre-existing condition"... apparently this penalty is being applied because I visited a chiropractor a few years before signing up for insurance. This is wrong, plain and simple, and no one at BCBSAZ has been willing to fix it. Their "customer service" is an oxymoron at best, and there just to frustrate you as near as I can tell. Do yourself a favor, and look for other options with companies that aren't as unscrupulous as BCBSAZ.
