It's so old, velvety and dark, that it is cool. The food is not of the trendy variety, but consistently excellent in its old style kind of way. We adore Gail, the bartender and always sit in her section--she's attentive, personable and will take good care of you. My husband is a big fan of the shrimp scampi, but I yearn for the stone crab (when in season) and oysters on the half shell the rest of the year. Love Durant's :)
