So we had a hard time trying to figure this place out before we went as the reviews are all over the board. We went with our kids - it was the off season so it was not crowded at all, that was nice. The BBQ restaurant was not open until March - would have been nice to know, the only restaurant onsite open was Ricos and it sucked to put it nicely.
The hotel itself - let's be real, you do not go here for the accommodations. It is old and dated, very dated. You can see daylight from under the doors to the room. It is not what you expect from a Hilton, let alone a Hilton Resort. It was mostly clean, but it is old and dingy is the best way to describe it. The rooms are good size, but very dated. It is hard to find places good to stay with multiple kids.
So as long as you go knowing it is not a 4 star resort and that it is a kid place you will be fine.
The lazy river is fun for the kids, granted it's not the most powerful so the kids have to propel themselves a bit. The pools are nice. Mini golf and tennis courts offer additional things for the kids to do.
The spa at the resort leaves much to be desired. The girls went for nail services and left rather disappointed.
All in all - this place is an ok place to go with the kids. The kids will like the activities and if parents can get past the dated hotel, you will be fine.
