  • Admiral is absolutely the worst pool service in Las Vegas. Their business model is to do the least amount of service and charge the highest rates. They recently did a drain and refill service on my high end pool ($240,000 pool with 3 waterfalls). The problem is that they never bothered to clean any of the rocks from the bottom of the pool or from the main drain...they just drained it and started the refill process without doing any basic cleaning...not even cleaning leaves or rocks from the pool surface before refilling..UNSAT! I recently had a third party test my water chemical levels to double check Admiral's work. It turns out the cyanuric acid levels in my pool were off the charts...why didn't Admiral catch this? Its because they focus their efforts when they service your pool on skimming leaves and not on the important things like chemical levels or the maintenance status of the equipment. I rent my home out, so I count on a pool service to do the right thing year around as I don't assume the tenant knows how to deal with a pool. Admiral let my Salt Cell run at full capacity all winter long when it was unnecessary to generate that amount of Chlorine. During the summer of 2010, their tech identified a faulty salt cell, but the company did not notify me for 2 months (he submitted a report to their company, but never told me about it or left a report with me). The administrative staff never forwarded the report to me of the maintenance issue. When I discovered the problem myself and called to inquire as to why it wasn't brought to my attention earlier (afterall that was why I have a pool service), the office staff was extremely rude and insisted that the card attached to my back door highlighted the issue and it was my fault for not acting sooner. The delay in taking care of problem (again I expect proactive service, like a phone call to highlight the problem and not just a random note left on a back door) led to an additional $750 in repairs because it wasn't dealt with with timely. To sum up, Admiral Pool Solutions is absolutely a pool service you must avoid. They are more interested in taking your money rather than the servicing your pool. I'm embarrassed to admit I allowed them to service my pool for 3 years. But to highlight their ineptness, after these three years they didn't know that my pool lights were color and not white lights..one would think thy would have known more about my pool after 3 years. If you have a high end pool in Las Vegas...avoid this company like they have the plague.
