  • I went to this store because they were one of the only stores that had designer frames and took my insurance, VSP. This retailer is unlike any upscale eyeglass store I have ever visited in any city. The interior is extremely dated, and their prices are astronomical. But the real thing that helps Park Opticians stick out is how rude each store employee is to their customers - every single person who works there, including the owner. When I asked to take home a number of pairs to show family members like other stores let you do, they asked me what kind of car I drove (as if that would be an accurate measure of my honesty). For some reason, I made a purchase anyway. When the frames I bought quickly lost their clear plastic coating in the first few months, they were unwilling to help. I asked if they could call the manufacturer for me, and the response from the salesperson was, "I see how you treat your iPhone - did you call Apple when the back of it cracked?"Even though it's not physically possible, I would pay double to buy eyewear from any other business.
