I was very excited when I went to the Earl of Sandwich. The advertisements look good and I thought I would enjoy it. I ended up being very disappointed. It's not that the sandwich has a bad taste. It does not. But the bread, even though they are trying to make it more artisan, just misses the mark. I found it to be a bit on the hard side. That just ruins a sandwich for me.
The Earl of Sandwich is located in the Palms, so there is no ambiance at all. Step in, get your sandwich, and then find a table to sit at while everyone else at the other seven restaurants is doing the same. I also thought the price was quite high for something just on the lower side of OK.
