  • My husband and I decided to try out a different hotel for a night on our yearly Vegas trip, and we weren't disappointed in our selection of Main Street Station. Never having visited Main Street Station before, we arrived thinking parking would be well marked and explained. We were wrong. At first, we parked in the lot near the entrance, only to find a sign reminding us of a ticket after walking up to the entrance. Confused, we crossed our fingers it was okay to park in the lot while we checked in, and followed the signs to the check-in desk. The employee at the front desk was kind enough to answer our questions regarding parking, which we appreciated, but it would have been nice for this to be clearly marked or explained. The inside of the hotel and lobby area was neat to see-definitely a different feel. While my husband was checking us in, I noticed a brochure that explained all the hotel's different historic pieces from different areas around the world. I took one, hoping to get a chance to walk through the hotel and see all the different pieces. Our hotel room was nice and felt clean. The bathroom had a nice tile shower, the bedding was soft, the towels were big and fluffy, and the room was quiet. For the cons: there were no plug ins by the beds (had to plug in phones to charge overnight away from the bed), and there were very few channels on the television. We enjoyed the walking distance to Freemont Street, which is where we spent most of our time. The buffet was good and reasonably priced, and the casino was pretty much what you would expect. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, and the clean and comfortable room is a great value for the price. We would recommend and will return!
