  • My fiance and I are planning a wedding right now. I found Film Monkey online and was impressed with the videos. I was hesitant based on some negative reviews, but I went in with a hopeful heart and positive thoughts. Becca and Chris responded to my email with one word answers. I asked to speak with someone by phone to get some questions answered, and my email was ignored. I resent my email and received only partial one word answers again. I asked if there was a location I could meet someone to get some questions answered and again I was ignored. I never even got to the point of considering this company because they decided to completely ignore my emails/calls. I emailed 6 times and called twice over the course of 3 weeks. If you want a company who is involved or who cares about you, this is not the company. At 3:55pm today (same day I posted this review) I received a threatening email from this business stating if I do not remove this review, they will file a lawsuit against me. What I have listed above in my review is my truthful experience and I am sharing my own experience on a website which supplies reviews to customers. There would be no reason this company should threaten to file suit for reviewing my exact experience. This is an extremely unprofessional comment (to threaten me with a lawsuit) and an unacceptable reaction to (me) a customer who was willing and able to pay for video services. I received the absolute worst service and treatment from this company throughout my entire planning process, and it is a shame that other couples will actually contact these rude business owners and be in the same position I was. Furthermore, Becca replied to me in an email (before she threatened to file a lawsuit against me for this review) saying she was on vacation with her husband and children during the 3 weeks I was trying to contact them (August through September) and that I was asking for much too speedy of an answer since they were away on vacation for 3 weeks. I gave this company 3 weeks to respond to me, and I am sure most brides would agree that 3 weeks is a substantial time to wait for a complete reply. I also found this article online about this company, please read if considering. It specifically states this company is part of a scam.
