| - **Updated 7/31/12: Can't believe I have to update this review for this POS place... My bumper is now beginning to come apart from my car where this place "fixed" my $50k vehicle. Unbelievable. PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM GERBER.

I am not a happy camper. I had originally given Gerber Collision 5 stars... That was prior to me having severe car issues due to some type of negligence that occured while my car was in their posession. This is going to be a long review, so strap yourself in.
I took my 2012 Acura TL here to have my rear quarter panel & bumper fixed. When I picked up my vehicle, I did notice that it literally had zero gas in it, strangely, and the battery was 100% drained; however, I called and talked to them about it and they profusely apologized and even offered me gas money and a new battery. I politely declined both offers, as I did not know that they had apparently damaged my vehicle somehow. Maybe they messed up some wiring..??? I have no clue what they did to it. Als, my gas range was about 50 miles when I left the car, so how in the heck they drove the car 50 miles + and used up all my gas (rude!!) is beyond me. But I digress.
After I wrote this review, I left my office to find that my car battery was STILL not holding a charge. Mind you, I drive a 2012 Acura. I literally purchased it brand new a few months ago, but I digress. I made it about five blocks from my office, and my car died while I was driving - in the middle of the road. Luckily I was able to jackrabbit my way into a parking space in front of a UPS Store. I called Gerber and to my surprise, my tech sent out a guy with a brand new Acura OEM battery which he installed for me. Mind you, I was on Indian School and the 101 during rush hour, and the guy still drove down and took care of me. That was nice, and far surpassed what they were obligated to do... Pretty classy if you ask me. But what isn't nice....
Sigh... Weeks later.... My car issues still persist. I have no clue what these people did to my BRAND NEW VEHICLE, yes that's right - brand new, barely 5k miles on it - but it's been to the Acura dealership with issues twice now since I picked it up from them. Whatever these people did to my vehicle... I just don't know. I've missed work and had to have my car towed because of these people. Two brand new batteries that mysteriously now won't hold a charge? The actual paint job itself is crappy at best. There are numerous bubbles all over my bumper, and the trained eye can definitely tell that work has been done... Carelessly.
Yeah. I'd probably stay away.
Update: Acura was finally able to fix my car, woohoo! :) I will say this: Joel, my rep who works at Gerber, is awesome. He was just about the only pleasantry throughout this whole ordeal. So don't fault the people up front for any issues you have with Gerber - they're golden. It's the techs behind the scenes that you will not see who appear to be the issue. I digress.
FINAL UPDATE: The issues never stopped wtih my Acura. I ended up trading it in for an Audi. Sigh. F U Gerber.
