Was looking for something to eat after a hanging out downtown Charlotte late one Saturday night. We arrived around 130am and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated.
This diner offered more variety than your typical Waffle House. Friend and I shared the chicken and waffles, and chicken strips which came with fries. The waffle wasn't good, it was too airy... the chicken wasn't fresh. The chicken tenders and fries were actually tasty and seasoned well. The ranch was fresh made and was also tasty. The sweet tea was good, not too sweet and wasn't watered down.
There was nice R&B music playing that night, which added a nice twist to the dining experience. We left around 230 and there had to be 50 parties in line waiting to be seated. There were also several police offices present to ensure things remained orderly.
