  • I would never board any pets at Applewood. I had boarded my dogs there for many years and then for 2 years in a row they were being returned to me so sick that they required veterinarian care. When I reported this to Applewood and questioned why my dogs were all of a sudden being returned to me in this condition they told me that the problem must be with my dogs and they probably cannot handle the stress of such a large kennel. However, they had handled the stress of such a large kennel for several years prior and I believe there was a problem within the kennel that needed to be addressed. After I questioned this they then refused to board my dogs anymore. I then took them to Raintree kennels who returned them to me in perfect condition consistently.
