  • Great doctors, staff, animal caretakers and kenneling facility! I take two of my dogs here and have for a couple years. I have not had one negative experience at University and wouldn't expect to either. My 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer had been having hip problems for years. Just recently, two days before we had to leave on a trip to Mexico, she was not able to stand or walk without assistance (I thought we would have to put her down). I told University the issue and they said no problem, the caretakers will just give her extra TLC during her stay. I felt SO relieved to leave her with them and asked for the vet to examine her to see what we could do. The next day, while I was in Mexico, Dr. Carmen emailed me personally and said she had bad arthritis and was now on pain medicine. When I picked Sergeant up, she was running around like a puppy. WOW.
