  • We were visiting Charlotte on a business trip and sought out a good BBQ joint. This was the unanimous recommendation. The menu lists a good variety of smoked meat items. I ordered the burnt ends with a side of bacon wrapped jalapeños and an Oktoberfest from Olde Mecklenburg Brewery (they have a good rotating selection of craft beers, too). My wife ordered the sloppy joe sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both entrees were delicious and brought out hot. The beer was cold. We would definitely come back if we were in town again.
