Look, the reality is, their bubble tea is good.
No, the bubble tea is not always good in their locations across the world (the ones in Taiwan and New York are terrible), but the ones in downtown Toronto are actually good, which explains why after it opened its Markham counterpart, the place EXPLODED. Line up out of the wazoo every second of everyday, especially after dinner.
I think until this location figures out how to cater to an explosion of asian customers in an predominantly asian part of the country (yes Canada) and serve good bubbletea without sacrificing customer's time and joy, then this place will never get a 5 star from me like I gave in its downtown location, where there are less asians and the line is palatable.
