  • Don't Waste Your Time! I went to Concentra Urgent Care at 1614 South Blvd. in Charlotte, NC December 23rd, 2013 for what I was told was an upper respiratory infection, but was not given a prescription for any antibiotic. I was only prescribed something for allergies so now I'm $40 out and no closer to relief. I spent my next three days off work for Christmas SICK! I went back to work and took a definite turn for the worse. Went back to Concentra requesting a follow-up for no improvement and was still given no antibiotic...just another allergy medication and another $40 out of my pocket. This is definitely no allergy issue. My wife caught from me what I have so we took her to Steele Creek Urgent Care in Charlotte, NC and she was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection (sound familiar), but she left there with two prescriptions...one for antibiotics and other other for cough suppressant. She is on the road to recovery and I am still sick. I missed three days of work this week because of Concentras inability to treat their patients properly. I even called them back and requested a call from the nurse or doctor to which I have yet to receive. I can't stress enough about avoiding this place and not wasting your money.
