Ordered a red velvet cheesecake and the New York style cheesecake
I'll start with the New York style cheesecake. Delicious. With Japanese cheesecake taking the GTA by storm, new York style cheese cakes are becoming a memory of the past. But they shouldn't be. Japanese cheesecakes are inferior. This was a nice dense but soft cheesecake. The strawberries and strawberry sauce and cheesecake had a perfect balance. Nothing overpowering the other, very complimentary.
The red velvet cheesecake was very interesting. Normally, the flavours are all blended in together, but this cake had flavours separated. If you just ate the red cake part, it tastes like chocolate cake. But if you combine it with the Center cheesecake cross section, then you get the full red velvet flavour. Very interesting take on red velvet.
Servings are pretty big. Location was a bit hard to find though.
