| - UPDATE: Okay...the response I just got for my one-star review has actually sent me in to revise my opinion of the place. These people obviously care, despite my impression of the singular experience I had in the store. It's true everyone has an off day and deserves a second chance. If a stressful day was actually the cause of my experience with Elliot, THAT I can understand and forgive (though he owes me no apology; life is life, right?) I may or may not go back in for the complimentary bee happy (DEEELICIOUS), because maybe I just don't feel they owe me anything, but I will not find myself "bad talking" this business. And I may just find myself in for a treat now and then... Thanks Jamie for taking some time to give me a little perspective... thumbs up to you and your very clear value of your team as a whole. - Stacey
If I could review the morning visit my boyfriend had with AJ who was apparently AMAZING, this would be 5-stars. But since my experience was with this cocky young white kid, their rating is suffering. He was completely unenthusiastic when we walked in, and though we told him we were in to each purchase a 3-day cleanse, he still gave no energy to the encounter. Honestly, if my boyfriend hadn't been given the grand treatment by AJ earlier in the day, trying every juice, getting great info about all of them, we would have said never mind, peace out, we'll take our business elsewhere. His complete lack of care almost drove us out. We stuck it out, but only because I really wanted to give the cleanse a try. This kid may love the juice, but he doesn't appear to love his job all that much.
This would've been only a small dent in the experience, but the cleanse did NOT live up to the hype, neither for me nor for my boyfriend. We followed it to the letter, every juice in order and on time, nothing extra entered our mouths other than water between juices. But cleanse the system it did NOT. Neither of us had any cleansing bathroom experiences. In fact I went less than usual and my boyfriend didn't go AT ALL! I'm so disappointed in the experience. I was really hoping for a good, cleansing jump start to a "clean" diet I've been planning to start today. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. SO incredibly expensive. Had it lived up to our expectations, the money wouldn't have been an issue; but for such a disappointing experience, it was like throwing money down the toilet. Lord knows SOMETHING needed to go down the toilet!
