  • This No Frills is one of the best grocery stores in the city. Like the No Frills in the Dufferin Mall, they have a Fresh fish department and a great butcher counter. I was even more impressed with the selection here. I found a beautiful whole octopus that couldn't have been fresher and some amazing short ribs. The guy at the butcher counter was super friendly and we had a fun conversation about organ meat. If you're looking for off cuts of meat for fair off cut prices and not the ridiculous amounts that that trendy places charge, you'll be happy with this place. Even on a Saturday, which is the worst day ever to go grocery shopping, this store wasn't a madhouse. The aisles were all well stocked and organized. The selection is above and beyond most Loblaws stores with much better prices. Aside from convenience, I don't see a reason to shop anywhere else in the city.
