Cinco de Mayo was chaotic but kuddos to the staff for handling it like a boss! I showed up for the pitchers of margaritas and ended up nibbling on my friend's refried beans and I tried mole for the first time. I wasn't a fan of mole and that's okay it wasn't mine to like but when I ordered churros I half expected to just get plain churros with cinnamon and sugar and was happily surprised with something else! I try churros every time I'm not hungry but want something to nibble on at a Mexican restaurant and these are by far the best I've ever had. I usually don't like churros that are filled but this is the exception. I felt like I was in a churro inception because the more I bit into the churro dessert the more churro I discovered swimming in a pool of the creamiest of ice cream. It all made me feel like a big kid and all the noise surrounding me was gone. I didn't even notice the other people at the bar eyeing this decadent dessert but I did share it with my best friend who discovered that I really like churros since I order them everywhere I go. This dessert and the two and half hour wait sealed the deal for me. I will be back to try the rest of their menu and to conquer the churro delight.
