We went at lunch, and for a major Vegas buffet, the slim amount of people eating was not a good sign.
The lunch choices were mediocre, which isn't bad, but it wasn't necessarily great.
The food just wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be, considering Mandalay would be the higher end of the Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay trio on this end of the strip.
The waitstaff however was very courteous and prompt, and my glass was never more than half empty, so props to them.
