| - This is probably my favorite bowling alley in town.
Over the last couple of years, they have put a bunch of money into upgrading the facility - they replaced all of the scoring machines, as well as the TV's. They are currently replacing all of the pin setters. I've bowled in a league on Sunday nights here and all of these things were really needed.
The prices are great - and if you bowl in a league, you get a discount! The snack bar has really good food. I love the nachos and chicken fingers - everything is made to order and the snack bar can get really crowded. The bar is also great, although I don't understand why they don't offer the same selection of beers that they do down on the casino floor. It's also time that they start offering something local, or at least craft. I've seen teams in our league sneak in their own beer because they refuse to drink the crap offered at the bar (can't blame them). Also, you can get $1 drinks on graveyard, which is hard to beat.
The guys in the pro-shop are grumpy, but get the job done. My husband recently bought a ball and bag. If you bowl often, I suggest getting a locker. It's only like $35 for the entire year and is easily one of the best bowling investments I've ever made. (LOL!)
I noticed recently that they (FINALLY!) offer WIFI in the alley. It took long enough. Although there are a lot of lanes, if you try and bowl on a night when there is a large league bowling, you will likely have to wait. Same goes for holiday weekends - so be prepared! Also, please teach your kids proper bowling etiquette (and learn it yourself). Although it's a fun family game, there are some rules and it'd be nice if more people familiarized themselves with them.
