  • Was referred to Kay Jewelers for repair of my Citizens watch band as they sell the brand. Three times with two people was asked if I purchased the watch at Kay Jewelers. No was my answer, as I had not shopped this store before. Not my kind of jeweler. They also wanted to charge me $40 for shipping to get an estimate to repair the band. Sounded a bit off especially with their attitudes and lack of enthusiasm to have a nice piece repaired and possibly make a new customer. Not sure but realized... when in doubt, don't! Took my nice watch and left, not a place I want to leave my jewelry!
