A friend is a fan of this dinner theatre and wanted to see "Hair." It has been ages since I went to a dinner theatre, and this one was a small, and nice one. The meals are ok, the appetizers and add-ons are generous. Don't expect really great restaurant food, expect a decent meal that is for your convenience after work and just before the play starts.
I was surprised that Hair would be performed today ... I last saw it decades ago. But it was performed with gusto and I enjoyed the many long-forgotten songs (but no one could forget "Let the Sun Shine In" and "Good Morning Starshine"). The stage production was fun and the lighting effects were great. The cast was enthusiastic and talented and brought play scenes into the audience; Fun! I thought the final scene of Claude was rather abrupt, but fine for a small theatre. Hair has meaning, and some parallels to todays politics. It was a very nice production. Give this theatre a try when you're in Glendale, AZ.
