It may be October but the weather is still warm enough for one last ice cream before winter weather hits and we don't crave it. For one of my last ice creams of the season it seemed appropriate to try a new place that I had been meaning to go to all summer, Dalla Rose. Owned by the same people who bring you Nora Gray they are using locally-sourced organic dairy products to serve up delicious ice cream.
The shop is fairly small and simple. They have a handful of ice cream flavours as well as ice cream sandwiches made using cookies that they make themselves. On this visit I went for the S'more and Cookies flavours. Both tasted really creamy however the S'more flavour tasted more like just plain chocolate. The price for the cone is $5 which is reasonable. I'll definitely be back in the future to try more!
