Ok, so it's a bigger version of Frankie's Tiki Room meets Disneyland.
The location itself is terrible but it's because the parking lot is always packed. However, if you're out drinking late, just walk 15 feet and there's a 24hr Thai/Chinese spot that's open and it's good.
The Golden Tiki was meh. I do love the decor, I support the Tiki world in that sense. I did like the layout. However, two bathroom stalls for women? Lame-O, I guess bar owners haven't figured out that females go more often than men do. Thumbs up!
It's practically the same menu as Frankie's just different drink names, different look and $2 more. Meh. If it's owned by the same person that owns Frankie's then you should have tried something that isn't ALREADY in Vegas. If it's someone else ripping off Frankie's, it's a cheesy attempt. The very back part of the bar is the "drunk Disney shipmate experience".
Not sure if I'd return. I'm a FTR girl since long ago and the drink I had at this place was basically Frankie's Sea Hag drink only more expensive. Plus our waitress was about as friendly as drywall.
