Not a good experience. I asked for a referral to a doctor that my friend likes there, and was instead scheduled in with another one and was unable to change. The doctor I saw was dismissive and curt, and didn't spend more than 2 minutes with me before already heading for the door while I was still trying to speak. It was apparent that my problem was considered inconsequential. I'm quite sure doctors have seen worse issues than mine, but it's been bothering me a long time and my family doctor could not help which is why I was referred. I didn't feel I was taken seriously, and was in fact treated like a disobedient child because I asked an additional question after the doctor had already decided the appointment (which was less than 5 minutes in duration despite a 20+ minute wait) was over. I would suggest going somewhere where you have more than 5 minutes of time with the doctor and are allowed to speak your concerns or questions. My understanding of most places is that appointments are in at least 10 minute blocks. I did have a slightly better experience on the cosmetic side - there were no niceties involved, but they solved a previous cosmetic problem I had. They didn't hesitate to tell me how much Botox and fillers I desperately needed at age 30 though, before it was "too late".
