  • Decent casino and hotel away from the Strip but not too far. It is an older casino with the lower ceilings so you can smell the smoke. It's a mainly older crowd and everyone is friendly. They have a TGI Friday's and Subway inside as well as the standard (and cheap) Vegas buffet. The Asian restaurant is supposed to have good food but I haven't tried it yet. The parking Gold Coast is easy and ample and it's next door to the Rio and across the street from the Palms.
