This was one of the first Filipino places I got to enjoy in Vegas, even though it's so far away from me. You order at the counter then wait for them to deliver your food. Thelma's special is their lechon kawali with tomatoes and onions, which has a ton of flavor, but you can always just order the lechon kawali plain if you prefer using an alternative sauce (Mang Tomas, Soy Sauce/Lemon). Other items I have really enjoyed here are the longanisa fried rice, which comes in mini or regular versions, and the kare kare. I would call ahead to confirm their hours because I have definitely made the trip here only for them to be closed. Their version of halo halo is bean-less, so I probably wouldn't order that from here again, but with all their other tasty options, it doesn't matter to me too much. One of the things that makes me happy about this place is that it is frequented by both Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike - glad to see Filipino food is making a name for itself!
