  • In vegas for veterans day and I was driving to the Hoover Dam with my friends and was starving for something good! Saw a little old place in Boulder City that was once a drive in diner called the Chicken Shack! I ordered 2 #4 combinations of 3 wings 3 chicken fingers and an order of fries. Have to say I was surprised at how great the fried chicken is. It reminded me of chicken I used to eat flavor and seasoning 20 years ago at Tuskegee University at a place called the chicken coop. Chicken had just enough flavor and seasoning , the chicken fingers were good also but I like the fried chicken pieces better. The French fries were great also and so was the iced tea for it to be in Nevada it was probably the best sweet iced tea I had a long time. This is a place owned by a couple and they were really friendly and made me feel right at home would definitely recommend going again!
