  • Avoid Sahara Palms aka Icon at 2900 like Ebola!! They've changed the name to Icon at 2900. They're trying to hide from their bad reviews. Don't let them fool you. It's still the same crappy Greystar management and property. Sahara Palms is a HOMELESS SHELTER. Tenants panhandle as you walk through the property and get angry at you when you won't give them money. I felt my life was in danger the short time I lived here. They charge you for a criminal background investigation that they never actually perform. Isn't that fraud? The employees are huge liars. I was told by Tammy of Greystone Mgt that water, trash & sewer were included in the rent. A month later I get a bill for $75 for water, trash & sewer. I reviewed my lease that says I'm required to pay water, trash & sewer. I was told I had to pay anyway or I would be evicted!! I had to take legal action and was able to break my lease and move out.
