  • Avoid. Pho Cali has a decent pho soup at best. The portions are okay. Same with the broth. However, I felt very dehydrated afterwards, which is an indication of a high quantity of MSG. What infuriated me was the service. It was rather slow, unwelcoming, and some waiters clearly looked like they hated their job. Granted, it was during rush hour, but it clearly ruined the atmosphere. To add insult to injury, while paying at the counter, the cashier intentionally gave back less change, and asked: "Can I keep this for tips?". I was very dissapointed in this rude behavior, and would definitely never go back again. If you're looking for a nice pho, I've had a far better experience with other Pho's nearby.
