I have frequented this place on a few occasions after working up a sweat playing volleyball down at the beach. Its an alright place in a pretty good location relatively close to the beach. What I do like about it is they have lots of patio space, and while you do you have to beat the rush if you want to get a spot on the patio after volleyball, we have rarely run into a problem finding a spot for 7 on their patio. Inside though, couldn't get a spot, but on a summer night I'm okay with that. Haven't made it up to the roof top patio yet, but I hear it's got a nice view of the lake.
So upon our arrival last night we got seated at two tables on the patio adjacent to one another because they didn't have a large enough spot to put us all together. Kinda unfortunate, but we made do until another group left and we invaded their spot. One thing we did get was a free pound of wings (for the team) and a free plate of chips and dip. The wings were alright (but there was only enough for one each) and the chips and dip I probably could have just done without. They we nothing special, but I shouldn't complain, after all they were free. A quick look at their menu and I close it. Their food options are just what appear to be overpriced greasy pubgrub. I'm content with my $20 pitcher of beer. Yeah, drinks aren't cheap here either.
While I would never go out of my way to come to this place, it did satisfy my need for beer after a hot game of volleyball.
