rev:text	I'm a tourist through and through and I'm absolutely okay with that. I have no qualms with running into people because I'm busy staring at my map or taking a million pictures just to make sure I can show my friends and family my summer vacation. It's cooooo. So being a proud tourist, I go to places like Gold & Silver Pawn Shop even though there's gazillions of better things to do in Vegas. I watched (watchED, as in past tense) the show, my dad had a rental car and whammo--it was settled. We were going to the pawn shop. I read reviews before visiting and I knew what I was getting into, but somehow I was still disappointed. I didn't expect any of the crew to be there so that didn't bum me out. Plus, I'm really bad at meeting famous people. I say ridiculous things like "Oh, I like your band" or "You were really good in that movie" and then I just feel like crap cause I met my idol and couldn't think of one single cool or earth shattering thing to say. Unlike most people, I try to avoid meeting celebrities. It was cool to see some of the iconic purchases from the show, but then again, it didn't change my life. The reason I give two stars is because it was like a giant souvenir store which just happened to have a few cases with pawn shoppe-y type stuff. The high point of the visit was the $1.00 bottled water. Only location in Vegas that I found with cheap water. That was the only thing I bought although the Chumlee shirts were pretty cute. Sadly, this ruined the show for me. I don't know why but I just haven't wanted to watch the show since visiting. I still love Old Man and all the other great people on the show, but I'm kinda over it now.
