Came on Sunday around 7PM, lots of the baked goods were already gone by that time and I was left with a limited selection.
We ended up trying a few different items.....
- Taro knot - a big bread that has taro and cream cheese filling. It's not too sweet and the cream cheese adds a savoury side to it. I really like this bread as it was soft and there was a good amount of filling to taste.
- Nutella croissant and peanut butter croissant - both croissants were very sweet with lots of filling to it. Kind of felt like I took a big bite of just nutella or peanut butter. I did not enjoy it that much but may appeal to those who love nutella or peanut butter.
- Matcha creme croissant - located in front of cash where the slices of cake are. This croissant was very tasty, full of matcha cream. It's similar to a cream puff but with a crispy and flaky texture of a croissant. Highly recommend this!
I love the fusion baked goods they have, surprisingly it works well together. Price point wise, it is expensive for baked goods ($3-4 for a croissant, $5~ for the taro knot, $5 for the matcha creme croissant).
There are a few tiny tables where you can sit and chat and you can also buy Chatime drinks here too!
I will come back at early times to see their other breads, or when I crave some sweets
