  • This. Store. Is. Phenomenal. After dress shopping at several boutiques where you are assigned a consultant who has total control over what dresses you try on, I found NY Bride & Groom. The freedom!!! Here, you get a spacious fitting room, and you are free to roam the racks, pulling whatever dresses you like (5 at a time in the room, please). There are SO MANY dresses - every style and shape you ever thought about trying on. There are friendly, fashionable consultants around to help you as much or as little as you need. I recommend bringing a bridesmaid or two to help you get into and out of the dresses. The prices are really great, the service is excellent, and there is NO PRESSURE to try on dresses you just aren't that into, or to buy a dress on the spot.
