  • When I first went to this office, they did a great job on an ingrown toe nail. However after multiple infections I went back in and Dr Cox said there was nothing wrong with my toe and explained I would need to have an ingrown toe nail removed on the toe that he said a second earlier had nothing wrong with it. I said no, and he offered to trim the nail to prevent it from getting worse. I didn't think much of it and said fine. He proceeded to cut my nail and with NO gloves on at all!! Then I received a bill for $67.00 for "surgery"! What surgery?? There was no surgery!! They actually billed my insurance for "surgery" that cost over $200.00 and that was my copay! He trimmed a nail and claimed it was surgery!!! When I called to confront them about it the office staff said that's how my insurance processed it. After informing them that I was not an idiot and they only bill for items you code for, they said there was nothing they could do! That's not the worst of it..For the last 3 months I have had to battle a MRSA infection from what he did to my nail, and when I called to explain what was happening he said it was an ingrown toe nail!!! What The???? STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!!!
