Bring back the old carts, management and employees - this experience sucked!
1. It's pointlessly expensive. You pay $20 for a 7-minute race time. Plus you're charged a $6 "license" fee which the signs explain is for helmet rental. We brought our own, but had to pay the rental charge anyway. You save a little $ if you pay for multiple races, but read #2 for why this isn't such a great idea.
2. This place is a cluster cuss of poorly organized and misinformed minimum wage employees who give you a full $7/hour worth of courtesy. It took us almost a half an hour to get to the point of payment, and about 45 minutes for us to get on the track. It's summer in AZ, but there was no air circulation in this place, so we sat and waited, then finally raced in extreme heat and humidity.
3. The karts are small and electric. We're above-average height and we practically had to fold ourselves in half to fit in the karts, so our legs and back were sore when we were done. Plus these karts are so much slower than the ones the previous company's.
Glad I only paid for 1 race, because we won't be back. We will instead drive further for a better experience.
