  • When I first arrived in Cleveland with my old car, I came out to my workplace garage one evening in the Fall of 2008 to find my battery dead. Security jumped started me, but I found myself driving the streets of Lakewood trying to figure out how I would do the commute next morning and also get a new battery. I had nearly no tools in my apartment garage. I stumbled across NTB on Detroit Ave, lights on at 8:30 in the evening. They immediately sold me a new battery, then came out to the parking lot and installed it. Problem solved, and I became an instant regular customer. I had them do a couple of services over the next year. Another time, I picked up a nail in the sidewall of my tire, ruining the tire. On a Sunday afternoon, they drove an hour roundtrip to another store to retrieve my exact tire and install it. That's valuable service to me. I did not price shop the tires and battery, since it is the timely convenient service that mattered most to me. No trying to arrange a pickup/drop off/ride to work, just get the car fixed now. I sold the old car and left Lakewood for the East Side, but still highly recommend this store for its hours, location, and service.
