Are you kidding me? This place has a solid 4 stars and was in the Phoenix new times top ten tamale places? HOW?! disappointed. My two friends got the tamales and I got two machaca soft tacos. My friends said the tamales felt like it was just soggy bread and that there was too much dough and that the chili wasn't spicy. They added that the beans were good but the rice was a little stale. My two tacos were a good size for the price, bigger than most at equal prices. The meat was seasoned very well but the meat to lettuce ratio was off...I didn't order a salad. I should have gotten the hard shell because it was so greasy, just looking at the soaked tortilla I could feel the grease seep into every orifice in my body. The horchata came from the soda dispenser and was awfully bland. Actually, that sums up our experience here..."awfully bland."
