  • I had hired GD (Granite Dude) after a recommendation by a client that she'd bought and had GD fabricate and install 3 slabs. I called them that afternoon and had an appointment with them to come to my home the very next day. they gave me a very fair price,, clearly outlined the process and had incredible turn around from slab choice to delivery / installation. Steve Bennett(?) met us at the slab warehouse and gave me numerous beautiful options and myriad of colors in my (minimal) price range, particularly since he'd seen my kitchen and understood my style. . I was also given the opportunity to (at least tentatively) ask for certain features of the granite inclusions to be in a particular portion of the countertop. BACKSTORY::: I had replaced formica countertops with "Cambria Quartz" (TM) in 2008. The cost of the quartz in 2008 was more than DOUBLE THE PRICE of Granite Dude in 2017 for estimate, buying the slab, and the fabrication, installation, sink install, and immediate return phone calls for questions. from the time I initially contacted them to install was less than 3 weeks. no mess. no fuss. fabulous customer service and product selection. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
