| - I do not even know where to begin with this. I have some items that I would like to auction off. I set up an appointment and they told me they would arrive "between 9 and 10" and would call when they are on their way. I call about 9:15 to try to get an ETA and am told they are heading out. 10am comes around and I finally get a call saying they will TRY to be there by 10:30 or 10:45, that the supervisor had them doing an extra pick up. Unfortunately, I had taken time off work already this morning and needed to leave by 11. I had someone (who also took time off work!) that was going to stay while they unloaded, but I wanted to at least meet them, get a good idea of what the items would be auctioned for, do the paperwork, etc. I explain to the driver that I know it is not his fault, he is just following orders and to please have his supervisor call me. His supervisor calls me a little bit later with a total attitude. He said "I heard you misunderstood..." and then said they NEVER tell people pick up would be at 9. He did say it was his decision to have the driver pick up an extra load, but that I was "unrealistic" to think they would be done by 11. I asked if he was blaming ME for THEIR screw up (greed). He kept interrupting me and would not let me explain that it was just myself that had to leave, that someone else would be there. I just wanted to meet in person, do the paperwork, etc. before I had to go to work. He would not let me get a word in and kept interrupting me. I finally just told them how unprofessional they were and that I would not be using them now or in the future, and hung up the phone. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I used Nye County Public Auction in the past and had an AMAZING experience...this place is polar opposite and after reading some of the reviews below, I am not surprised by how I was treated today.
