  • I went back to give this place a second chance. Shame on me. My stylist was very nice, however nice doesn't get you what you want or what you pay for. So let me give you the short version. I asked for layers - either she got distracted or forgot I asked for sweeping bangs -no go on that - she cut them so short that I looked like a Barbie that a 4 year old with barber passions got a hold of. I even said why are they so short and she replied " I am sorry I usually ask how long my clients want their bangs but I didn't " ummm you didn't need to ask I told you how long and I wanted side swept bangs ...I SHOWED YOU THE LENGTH ...what got lost here ??? We decided to give me highlights -that out of everything is was utterly disappointed and really underwhelmed me.....I have light blonde hair and my roots are a bit darker . So she said I'm going to lighten your roots - I sat under the heat lamp hair wrapped and when she took the foil off - there was NO change in color at all it actually looked darker and dull. I think she didn't mix it right or didn't use and strong enough solution . Sooooooo then she said we will tone down this brassiness ....when the towel cane off after the shampoo ...my hair was ash blonde...for those of you who may not know what ash blonde is .....ITS GREY!!!! Not even 60 year olds want ash blonde , ash blondes don't even want to be ash blondes. Basically what she did was color my hair darker to try and match what she did to my roots. I can't even explain to you how I felt . I was going to Mexico in 4 Days for a wedding and we'll yeah not happy. So it's been over a month and the grey is still there but it's slowly wAshing out. Thank goodness. Word of advise on this place . They do have good stylist because when my hair was getting done I saw others and thought why couldn't I have them do my hair. I think that the Stylist that helped me needs more mentoring and shouldn't be doing hair by herself yet , practice a bit more . I could be mad but I am not . I just think if the salon focused more on the customer and hair instead of trying to be cool and keep up with the Joneses , it really would be a great salon. If you do go there ask for the owner. She is a master at hair and really knows how to handle hair. So 250 dollars out the door for something Supercuts and sun in in my opinion could have accomplished better . Take my review for what it's worth , you can always see and experience for yourself .
