| - Shame on you.
Discount cab is subsidized through the state to assist with dollar-a-ride, which we typically use. My father-in-law is 86 years old, and paralyzed in a wheelchair. We had such a hassle getting a ride set up for a doctor's appointment for him.
Finally, we scheduled for them to pick up from our home between 10:15 and 10:45 am for his 11:30am appointment. A driver named Young came to our home at 9:30am instead, and said I don't know, and that I would have to cancel and call and reschedule. After calling, they promised to be here one time. 10:45 comes and goes, no one is here. We call again. They arrive 11:20.
He was late to his appointment. It's now 2:30pm, and my father-in-law has been waiting for over an hour in the lobby at his doctor's for his ride home. The driver is calling us asking where he is, and why he can't see him. Possibly because he can't maneuver in the same way a person who walks can?? They left!! Now another driver is on the way. This is absolutely unacceptable, it breaks my heart.
As a side note, there are a few reliable drivers that he requests who are not always available. He is always respectful in spite of a poor experience. He deserves much better!
